This event was held on March 8th to celebrate International Women's Day and introduce the Network's new Prism Series on Women's Health Globally, It describes the history of International Women's Day and what the Women's Movement has achieved over the last 120 years or so. This includes a UN Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women. It explores this year's theme of Embracing Equity and disentangles the distinctions between Equality and Equity, placing them in the context of Social Justice.
